Manfred at Pardee's Cameras helped me diagnose an issue with my flash-bulb photography. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of digital and analog photography. I'm quite lucky to have such a place in my neighborhood. But don't go in there to get advice then buy stuff at Amazon - they HATE that - and well they should. Their prices are very good, sometimes better than on-line. Kiev 4A with Jupiter 50/2, Kodak Tri-X, M2B Sylvania flashbulb, f22 @ 1/25 sec. The problem turned out to be a short circuit in the camera, which would case the flashbulb to ignite as you were putting it in. Ouch. Solution is to shot the Steempunk next weekend with the Nikon F3, rather than the Kiev.
