Always admired the work of the photographer Denis Thorpe and this shot is typical of his style and so inspired me to take this shot. A flying visit to Chatham and wanted to shoot the terraced houses especially across the valley, liked the foreshortened effect on the terracees as well as the contrast in mono... apart from the number of cars has a very sixties britain feel.
