Tewkesbury Abbey is an ancient 12c church still mostly intact, and famous for the site of the bloody battle of Tewkesbury in the War of the Roses in 1471 with Edward IV. When I visited this amazing place was lucky enough to catch the evening sunlight on the stonework. Lack of light meant that I tried to expose for the building and lost a little of the sky. Taken on my compact Finepix too so pleased with the resolution.
