Waterfalls Walk Yorkshire Dales National Park Rival Falls has two cascades separated by a plunge pool 60ft (18m) below, the pool is known as Black Hole and is thought to be around 80ft deep. The lower cascade separates into two falls either side of a large rock. When you approach the falls the footpath is above them and then it runs steeply down via steps and over rocky uneven ground into Baxenghyll Gorge.
