I've been seeing this type of butterfly quite often in the yard. I think it may be a pieris rapae or small cabbage white. I was shooting some other stuff in the yard with a Pentax 110 50mm f2.8 and close-up filter, which is okay for static subjects. Luckily, this butterfly kept landing and staying still long enough for me to get fairly close for a few photos. I'll post one where the body is on focus.
